Holland Marine House Vietnam Holland Marine House Vietnam (HMHV) was established in June 2007 by Holland Marine Equipment Association, with backup of the Dutch government. The aim of HMHV is to represent and promote Holland maritime technology in Vietnam, to act as the first contact point between the companies and the customer, to support the companies in collecting and analysing market information and to aid the companies that seek opportunities for production in Vietnam.

The office in Vietnam is directed by a corporation in the Netherlands with the same name, HMHV. The board of this corporation consists of the participating member companies and a representative of Holland Marine Equipment Association, who meet four times a year. This corporation instructs the local staff, besides this there is a Dutch representative in Hanoi for troubleshooting if necessarily.
Holland Marine Equipment Association
Trade association Holland Marine Equipment represents the Dutch suppliers of maritime equipment and services. The association stimulates the development of technical innovations, the clustering of know-how, and strengthens the presence of the membership at foreign markets. The 275 member companies are active in the fields of maritime engineering & contracting, fabrication of installations and components, the supply of maritime services and ship repair. Together with the Netherlands’ Shipbuilding Industry Association (VNSI), Holland Marine Equipment Association is part of Holland Shipbuilding Association.
Holland Shipbuilding Association represents the interests of the Dutch maritime industries. In January 2008 the new association has seen daylight. It represents a total maritime turnover of € 8.8 billion, an export volume of € 5.3 billion, and a combined direct workforce of over 37,500 people. Holland Shipbuilding Association offers expertise in the fields of innovation policy, finance, environmental and health & safety policy, subsidies, European affairs, government policy, public relations, marketing, and branch matters.
Holland Shipbuilding Association is located in Rotterdam and branch organisation of HME.
The association is the face of the Dutch maritime supplier industry. In discussion with the government and the press, we provide information about and lobby on behalf of the sector. Holland Marine Equipment Association is an active participant in the Dutch Maritime Network and a co-founder of the European trade organization EMEC (European Marine Equipment Council).
